Build 191: Brand new Lists UI
Hi folks,
This update is all about Lists - making them more personal, easier to share, and a lot more fun to browse. Along with that, there's a solid batch of fixes and polish across the app. Here's everything that's new.
Lists get a personality
You can now give your Lists a lot more personality. Customise their covers with the items that best represent the List, set a List colour to tie it all together, and drag and drop to re-order your covers exactly how you want them. Bulk adding items to Lists is also much easier to navigate now and saves faster.
Better sharing, better browsing
When you view your List you can now see how many items you've completed from it. Viewing an external List also shows how many items are in your backlog and how many you've finished, so you get a proper sense of where you're at before diving in.
Episodes improvements
The Episodes page got some love to make it easier to mark full seasons as watched and monitor your progress. Haptics have been added across the whole flow, so it feels a lot better to use.
Search
Search now shows the posters you've selected for items already in your Library, so your Library stays visually consistent wherever you are in the app.
Fixes and improvements
A good round of fixes:
- Next Episode card could, in very rare cases, get bigger than expected
- Music items weren't showing the recommend button, weren't generating user activity, and couldn't always be added to Lists
- Selected avatar could revert to the OG one if the app didn't sync fast enough
- Steam imports were failing in rare cases (and the import instructions got a cleanup)
- People search window had a couple of issues
- Saving items from Activity or Lists wasn't always saving the full details
